Submission of a nomination form for the inclusion of the National Museum of Western Art in the UNESCO's list of World Cultural Heritage in January 2015
On January 27, 2015, the French government submitted to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) World Heritage Centre a nomination form (official version) for the inclusion of the architectural works of Le Corbusier in the UNESCO's list of World Cultural Heritage. The nomination was presented by France representing related countries and includes the National Museum of Western Art (NMWA).
The International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS), an advisory body consisting of experts, will examine the nomination in about 18 months. The UNESCO World Heritage Committee will then decide whether to accept the nomination at its 40th session in June 2016. <Future Schedule>
